  • Nurture what interests him. My oldest stepson was in love with baseball at 3 and now is one of the best baseball players on his t-ball team.

  • Give him a wide range of opportunities to try different things. If he likes drumming, get him into a music program but also try sports, art. The more you expose him to, the more you'll see where his talents and interests lay. Then you proceed from there!

  • Jackimci is exactly right, let him try many things. But don't overschedule him or push him to take things more seriously or he will get burnt out & you will never know what his potential was.

  • Collect empty coffee cans, paint them a sold color and let him put stickers on to decorate (let him choose from Walmart's .88 sticker collections by the greeting cards)
Those can be drums, so can his tummy (haha), a cardboard box, and you can collect empty paper towel or gift wrap rollers for drum sticks.

    Check out Putumayo music too.
