What would you think of a "family" like this ?

If you seen a little dirty house owned by 2 adults who dont work and their one biological child plus 7 foster children ...

would you think that they really brought these children in thier home to help or for the money ?

I mean, if you really did it to make difference in the kid's lives, wouldnt you want to go get a job or atleast pick up your house to make a better life for them?

  • Yes, and I would also wonder why their caseworker placed so many children in that kind of enviroment.

  • It sounds like they did it for the money. It is a wonder that child protective services have not stepped in.

  • how can they support 7 foster children without haveing a job? How can anyone give them 7 foster children in this situation?? Seems like they just want the money, sorry. Maybe someone should call cps

  • The said thing is, CPS is who placed the kids there. A caseworker should be coming out to the home and visiting the kids there so they should already know what's going on. )c:

  • Some people just do it for the money, not the securtiy of the children. Foster care is supposed to help nuture children and provide somewhat of a safe stable enviroment. I would contact the cps office and explain what you saw.

  • Just because someone appears to you to be dirty and unemployed doesn't mean they aren't good parents.

Other than what you can see just by looking at them, do you have any reason to think the children aren't safe and healthy?

  • If the ONLY money they have coming in is the money that they get from fostering kids then it sure sounds like they are only doing it for the money. That is a bit interesting that a caseworker would put that many children into a situation where neither parent makes any money whatsoever.

  • sounds like all they want is the money. Maybe call cps

  • That is exactly why so many kids are kept in less than ideal situations with the biological parent(s). It's because the foster care system is worse. These kids are taken from a bad situation and put into a worse one. They are sexually, verbally, and physically abused and bounced around from home to home where money is usually the motivating factor. That's why I don't understand all people against abortion and telling these women to put their babies up for adoption because there are so many loving homes wanting children. If that's true, why are there millions of kids in the foster system who can't find these loving homes?
