Have you seen this? Kansas passes restrictive "safety" laws on Abortion clinics as a way side step the issue...

What it all boils down to is rather than take a side on the Abortion issue openly. Kansas has passed new laws requireing all clinics to enlarge their bathrooms and closets in only 2 weeks or close. The cases is being argued but it doesn't look as if the current Pro-Choice laws are going to matter for most facilities because they don't affect "safety" laws like closet sizes and such...

  • Sounds like politics to me, I'm not really surprised.

  • Hadn't heard - probably due to the over-saturation of a single story lately. Seems like a waste of money - unless they went and inspected every clinic in the state to make sure their guidelines were bigger than the biggest closet and bathroom in the biggest clinic they could find, it won't shut them all down. Aside from that, nothing prevents them from relocating or actually doing the renovations. It's temporary at best.

  • As much as i HATE what has happened it was within the power of the people of that state NOT to set those standards. Likewise, they also have the power to change them. If people fail to act then it must not be that important to them.

Note to all abortion seekers: We'll take you in Michigan. Big Brother doesn't regulate your womb and we could use the population growth. (Bring money though 'cause we don't have a ton of jobs.)

  • Considering Wichita, Ks used to be the abortion capital of the nation for many years I am shocked.

  • The first thing this made me think of is the babies that survived abortions being left in closets to die...an enlarged closet at an abortion clinic...gives me the shivers.
