New charges against Strauss-Kahn from a different victim

does this make the US victim's questionable claim less questionable?

Lawyers for a French journalist have begun formal legal proceedings in Paris accusing the former head of the IMF Dominique Strauss-Kahn of attempting to sexually assault her.

Thirty-two year old Tristane Banon claims the assault happened in Paris in 2003. At the time the writer’s mother, a prominent figure in the Socialist Party, persuaded Banon not to take action.

Banon’s lawyer said she had decided two weeks ago to pursue Strauss-Kahn. She was quoted in French media saying she could no longer bear being called a liar.

  • People in power often behave in bad ways. I think they are both on sinking ships, hers (the original victim) is just going to sink faster.
