10 things Jesus never said: (no question)

For those of us that feel like Jesus is getting fed up with us, here's a reminder of some things Jesus DIDN'T say:

1. You're too far gone to be saved.
2. I'm so disappointed in you.
3. This wouldn't be happening if you were a better Christian.
4. It's okay not to love certain people.
5. Everyone should beieve and act like you do.
6. It's all up to you.
7. You don't have to forgive someone who really hurt you.
8. You missed My will for your life.
9. I've given up on you.
10. This is a cross you must bear.

...and one very important thing He DID say...
I will give you rest.

From a new book I'm reading by Will Davis Jr. Just thought I'd share. I hope all is well with all of you. Blessings.

  • It all comes down to if your heart is open to learning and if your trying to be a better person, nothing else matters. God knows the intent of your heart.

  • Great post!

Elish, he may not have said that, but the Bible says "....if a man will not work, he shall not eat."(2 Thes 3:10).
