What does it mean to be an unorthodox Christian? How is it different?

  • DON'T QUOTE ME! but i think it's more of a lax type of thing... the bible is interpreted rather than the EXACT word... if that makes since.

  • You might have to clarify that question, since I'm Eastern Orthodox LOL!!! For us, most of the other denominations would be "unorthodox", technically.

    But I don't think you're asking about the actual definition, are you?

  • Not sure, but most of mainstream Christianity would certainly think our family is "unorthodox" I'd guess. We are Messianic so we worship/live a more Jewish lifestyle but accept Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah and are born again in Him. Seeing as He was Jewish in His life on earth, it's sort of funny to think that we are the "unorthodox" ones. :-)
