Can you develop an allergy to milk?

My husband has been having a hard time with dairy products lately, but they never bothered him before. Could he have BECOME lactose intolerant? Can that happen?

  • Yes. You can develop allergies/sensitivities at any time. I became lactose intolerant when I was pregnant with my 2nd child in my early 20s. I still eat dairy I just have to watch how much I have and sometimes it doesn't bother me and other times I suffer with feeling uncomfortable the rest of the day. It's not bad enough to keep me away completely.
