  • We use a toothpaste without fluoride in it (what our doc recommended). We started to "brush his teeth" before he even had any, actually :) He enjoys it, and after every meal looks at us and says "brush?" I love it :)

  • I didn't use toothpaste at that age. Not until they can spit. Just use water.

  • We use Toms of Maine without Fluoride. We brush as a family at least twice a day, even though the kids are older now they still do it with us, it helps to build good habits and on the off chance someone would choke or something, I'm right there.

  • We just use water and a finger brush. DD is 6 mo and just popped her first tooth on 4th of July, but we brushed her gums way before that.

  • My son is 9mths and has two teeth. His doc said to just brush them with a finger brush and wipe off with water. No need to brush with a paste just yet. If u insist on using a paste They make a baby toothpaste too.
