What is your favorite dip recipe?

Love Dip is my family's favorite. You can only get it at HEB/Central Market. It is so good!

  • It's so bad for you. but layering cream chese and then chili and sprinkling cheddar cheese on top! You can use tortilla chips, pretzels, whatever you want. Delicious!

  • Artichoke Dip

1 pkg low fat Neufchatel cheese or cream cheese
1 cup of artichoke hearts, chopped up finely
1 package of Lipton onion soup
Optional: 3/4 cup of finely chopped spinache
    1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
1/2 cup to 1 cup of mozzarella, colby or pepper jack cheese

    Preheat oven to 350.

Mix all ingredients well in a large bowl with a spoon, then place into an oven-ready container (glass pie pan, casserole dish, etc) and top with the mozzarella, colby or pepper jack cheese.

Place filled container into oven and bake for 10-15 mins or until cheese is melted.

Remove from oven with oven mitts and place onto a cooling rack or stovetop to allow to cool. Serve with wheat thins, tortilla chips, pita chips or the crackers of your choice.

This is the basic recipe but you can kick it up a notch by adding chopped bell peppers, pepper or other other types of cheese.

  • Ooooh, here is my recipe for the Love Dip too.
    8 ounces cream cheese, softened
    1/4 cup tomato salsa
    1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon chopped cilantro
    1/8 teaspoon lemon juice

Throw all the ingredients except lemon juice in a blender and mix until smooth. Add lemon juice to taste. Goes well with crackers, bread, tortilla chips, vegetables, chicken and fish.
