Stretch marks

Is it true that once your stretch marks turn white, or are no longer that purple-ish color, that nothing can be done short of using lasers to get rid of them? Are there any creams or lotions out there that work?

  • creams and lotions don't work.. no cocoa butter doesn't work either..

you could try microdermabrasion to help stimulate the elastin and collegin in the skin.. and constant massaging helps (it's the only reason people say lotions, it's not so much the lotions as it is the massage).

  • Massage and oil based lotions help. Even cheap cocoa butter lotion works. Just put it on after you shower everyday and at night, massage and stimulate the area while applying more. Good Luck. I think there are also some new creams or ointments over- the-counter which help.
