  • Sunscreen needs to be reapplied lots. Even if it says waterproof, reapply every hour.

  • Pack a grandma to watch the little ones so you can enjoy the major water slides.

  • 1) DON"T use spray on sunscreen. The wind carries much of it away, and you still burn. Use the highest SPF sunscreen on your babies. You can use lower on yourself. No sunscreen seems to really prevent sunburn, if you are out in the sun all day. Keep an eye on yourself and your babies, and after an hour or so, reapply sunscreen AND put on shirts!
    2) BRING a babysitter! It's your vacation, too. Find a young teen who would LOVE the waterpark vacation, if all she has to do is a couple of hours of babysitting a day. Then you and your DH can have a break, too.
    3) Bring two swim suits each. No one wants to put on a wet one, least of all a baby.
    4) You may need to pack some toys for the little ones, your own portacrib or playpen, and whatever they need to go to sleep. While hotels have cribs, they never have enough, and charge a lot for them.
    5) Pack some wine or fun stuff for you and your DH (neglige, chocolate, etc!)
