  • Breastfeeding isn't a guaranteed method of birth control. I have a brother born on my first birthday.
I have friends that have gotten pregnant while still EBF their young babies.

  • My mother breastfed me until I was 9 months old and 3 months pregnant with my brother. She never had a period between my birth and concieving him. She planned to keep nursing and delay solids on me until 1 year. She was making enough milk, but back then she bought into her doctor telling her that it would kill my brother.
