My little 8-month old girl, who has always been a good sleeper, has suddenly started waking up - sometimes 8 or 9 times a night! She's not hungry, her diaper is fine, does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do?

  • make sure her ears are ok. If health checks out then she probably go into a routine and now its time to break it. Let her cry.

  • Is she taking naps during the day? If so, try and cut down on them, keep her up during the day - maybe that will help her sleep a little longer at night?

  • my son sleeps through the night except on Tuesday's. Guess he knows Mommy has to work a 12 hour shift the next day! And it's so crazy cos it's only on Tuesday!

  • She may be teething..try putting orajel on her gums at night and give her some tylenol before bed. Most babys that age age are cutting teeth
