  • years In to transfer it over. I was going to use my dh's but with 4 years they won't transfer it. I think they said 6 years active? I'm not sure of all the details.

  • You have to wait until he has been in for at least 6 years with a commitment to do 4 more years. I tried but DH hasn't been in for 6 years yet.

  • I'm using the Post 9/11 GI Bill, but it's mine. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask. I don't know much about transferring. I know that there was a cutoff for transferring though.

  • If you want to use his Post 9/11 aka Chap 33, he has to transfer it over to you and he has to have been in for at least 6 years to do so.
