Can you go on water slides while pregnant?

Im 29 weeks pregnant, im assuming i cant but i figured i could ask!

  • Hmm, good question. It's no so much the sliding I'm worried about a much as the speed when you hit the water. I know the baby is well protected in the womb but I wouldn't take the risk.

  • My friend went to a water park when she was pregnant and went down the water slides. She was 26 weeks pregnant. Her water broke. She was then put on bedrest until she was 34 weeks pregnant( in the hospital) and delivered her son a day later. I wouldn't recommend it, but of course...check with your doctor.

  • I did but it was a very wimpy water slide and I was far enough along I was hoping to labor. Depends on the slide if it looks like it slams you around a lot I wouldn't.

  • Alot of the signs at the beginning of the slides say do not go on if your pregnant or have heart problems....Ive 22 wks preg & have been wantin to go o a water park myself but i didnt wana risk it, so i guess i'll wait till nxt year =(
