My new baby falls asleep before finishing her daily breast feedings. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to keep her awake?

  • tickle her or remove her clothes. My lactation consultant told me to remove her clothes to feed her. I am not really sure why but it usually worked.

  • Yep... run your finger over the bottom of her foot. If that doesn't work, flick the bottom of her foot with your finger.

  • My Jordain does that a lot. I just rub my finger across her cheek and even though she's sleep, she'll continue to nurse.
