Who did not take a childbirth class, when they were pregnant with their 1st child?

I'm pretty sure you benefit from it, but i know some ppl who cannot afford it.

  • I didnt because you were required to go with a partner and i had no one to go with.

  • I didn't. Turned out I didn't need to, since I had a bunch of complications and needed an emergency c-section at 33 weeks.

  • The child birth classes here are free. Dh and I went to one class and thought it was stupid so we didnt go back and everything turned out fine.

  • i never even thought about it ...untill ppl started recomending it to me then i thought about it but decided why should i spend money i dont have when women for centeries have been doing with out thses classes and did just fine....i got threw it just fine...and once you have one i dnt see a reason to go to a class when you already know what to expect

  • I delivered 2 happy healthy babies and never took any kind of class, it is a natural process, and your body takes over.

  • i didn't, i figured i wouldn't be doing nay kind of breathing techniques or anything they teach you to calm down while having a baby come out of my hooha, i did just fine without a class (both times)
