THE SHAKES

MY SEVEN MONTH OLD SHAKES HER ARMS AND LEGS WHEN SHE IS REALLY TIRED. sHE WAVES THEM UP AND DOWN THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND SHAKES ALL TOYS SHE PICKS UP OR THEY GO STRAIGHT TO HER MOUTH. IS THIS NORMAL

  • Yes, this is all normal . . . don't worry . . . children seem nutty, but they are doing what is natural to them.

  • yep...all normal. My 9 month old figured out how to shake his head no so he does it all the time now, in the high chair, while crawling...babies are weird...lol. :)

  • Do you mean "shaking" as in twitching? Or is your little one waving his arms back and forth? My daughter (7 mo old) just learned about a month ago how to wave toys back and forth really quickly. Boy, does she get going! Sometimes she even whacks herself in the face! LOL I don't think you have anything to worry about unless the movement is more like twitching, trembling, or spasms. If they do look more like that, then it is definitely time to call the doc. =)
