Could this be the cause?

Has anyone noticed that clorine worsens acne? My daughter has been swimming and her acne that was doing fine is bad again.

  • Yes chlorine does affect acne. My sons acne had cleared up and as soon as he began swimming in chlorine filled pools its been coming back again.

  • Yes. It dries your skin out, tightens it, opening pores and so you produce more oils. Try covering her skin in Vaseline or another tough clean oil before swimming (so long as your DD won't mind swimming with a shiny face :0}
