  • Depends on the company, family gathering or poker night type crowd. Family, we'll make lunch or supper. Poker, or casual hanging out we'll do finger foods. And if they are one of those people who just drop by unannounced, sorry buddy I hope you ate before you came lol

  • It all depends. I like making homemade pizzas, pastas, soups. If it's family, pot pie, stuffed shells... I like what I cook, and so does everyone else so I do t worry about it most of the time,

  • if i am having guests over for dinner, i make all kinds of things....i never stick to one dish for dinner.

  • I usually make an Enchilada Dip, Lil' Smokies, Broccoli Chicken Cups, Nachos Baby (another dip) or Fruit PIzza; if it is just people coming over to hang out. If they are coming over for dinner we either grill out or I put something in the crockpot...I love the meals you can make in a crockpot!!

  • It depends on who is coming.

I old standard is a comprehensive salad or taco bar, though. I usually put out enough meat for the "hearties", but lots of choices for the ones who want to keep it light.

  • Totally depends. I try to make something that doesn't require that I spend the entire evening in the kitchen. Tonight will be tandoori chicken and green beans. I've done Thai chicken pizzas, casseroles, and a myriad of others.

  • Lumpia. Not too many people I know outside of military families have eaten lumpia. Or I go all out Italian, making dishes and appetizers I learned to make when I lived in Italy.
