Head control?

Should I be worried my almost month old son has little head control? Both my boys have larger than normal heads, but I can't recall when my first got head control!

  • No. Most babies don't get GOOD head control until around 6 months.

  • When [head control] develops

Your baby will probably be able to lift his head when he's about a month old, and hold it up when placed in a sitting position at around 4 months. His neck muscles and head control should be strong and steady by age 6 months.

  • Yeah he doesn't hold it up that well when I hold him in a sitting position. I mean he does okay I have just seen friends babies who are younger and have full head control! I mean I know every baby is different I was just asking opinions lol! Thank you
