What's for supper when it's hot out?

I am making pasta salad right now and probably hot dogs for supper tonight. It is already hot and muggy out.

  • I'm still making spaghetti lol. I don't usually make "hot weather meals". If it's too hot, I just don't cook and we order out!

  • I think tonight we may do grilled chicken, mac & cheese & left over squash casserole. When its hot, I have to make meals that don't require the oven. The casserole required the oven last week, but since its left overs, I can just put in microwave.

  • Salads with protein :)
Chicken or , grilled veggies and a little bit of rice.
Chicken with mango salsa and a salad or a little couscous.
A protein with a light cucumber salad and some fruit for dessert.

My fiance can't handle heavier meals pastas, pot roasts etc when it's hot out because he's outside working in the +100 degree heat everyday.
