21 month old taking diaper off during nap and at night

Any suggestions on what to do so I don't have to remove his crib bedding and do a load of pee-soaked laundry every day?

  • I would switch to pull ups and begin the potty training and until then you could also put on those diaper covers that sometimes they have for dresses (looks like cloth underwear). I put my LO in a diaper cover like that when it's super hot out so there are no diaper incidents.

  • onesie? they make them big enough, i'm pretty sure. i intend to have my son in a onesie until he's potty trained so i dont have to play the "diaper take off" game

  • Potty training time! Usually that is a sign of readiness. Don't discourage it with duct tape. Maybe introduce pull ups. My kids kept them on longer, and keep clothes on your baby.

  • duct tape the diaper or put pajamas on backwards

  • Thanks! We had stopped doing onesies, but I think I'll run out and get some for him until he's potty trained.

  • Looks like I've got my work cut out for me with starting potty training! Hope it goes smooth.
