Is Melatonin ok during pregnancy?

Is melatonin (And all natural sleep aid) ok to take during pregnancy?

  • NO!! Mayo clinic says baby is at high risk for birth defects and developmental delays! Benadryl, however is ok to help sleep. My OB had me using it every pregnancy.

  • No. I looked into it while I was pregnant and everything said it was a no go. A safer alternative is Unisom, which some drs prescribe for morning sickness.

  • NO! I agree with the others. My Dr. okayed both regular unisom and benedryl.
