So is it true that after the implanon is taken out ur very fertile?? Just wondering... Cause after it's out we r gonna start trying for a baby... So I was wondering if anyone has info on that??

  • Talk with your doctor about it when you have it removed. Most of the time with long-term birth control methods like Implanon, there is a period of time after removal when it is recommended that you use a back up method (like a condom) before you start trying, to allow all of the hormones to reach their natural balance. With birth control pills, it's usually recommended to wait 3 months, but if you get pregnant before that, it's usually not a huge deal. This is one time when your doctor definitely is the one who would know.
