Anyone on a beta blocker? If so is it for hbp or heart rate and do you get side effects?

  • Sorry I am on it because I was pregnant (had bp issues for 6yrs) and still bf my DD never had any problems with it.

  • A beta blocker can be used for blood pressure or heart rate control. One of the most common side effects is a feeling of fatigue.

  • I was on one to keep my bp down. I hated it! I felt worse when I was taking it - I couldn't climb a flight of stairs, couldn't walk a block, couldn't do a dang thing. I took myself off of it (weaned off the proper way) and omg I felt so much better off it - and my bp really didn't go up, it hadn't been that high to start with.
