Did ovulation kits help you conceive?

Just bought the "First Response" ovuation kit... Did this help any of you conceive? We are only on our third month trying, but I still want to make sure I do what I can to up my chances. :)

  • They only test for the occurrence of the LH surge that precedes ovulation. They don't indicate whether the woman has definitively ovulated afterward. There are times that you will have a LH surge but the egg never pops out of the ovary. The typical kit will only have 5-9 tests and many women will need more than that each month unless you really know when you are ovulating by charting.

  • NO!!!! I used them for almost a year. I learned about charting, charted 1 month and got pregnant!

  • Im getting tired of buying the kits so Hubby agreed to buy me the ovacue รท) I just finished a box of kits I didn't get pregnant so im buying the monitor

  • I am keeping up with my ovulation via an application on my phone. I am hoping the ovulation kit may tell me how accurate my applicataion is... The kit I bought has seven tests in it. So, I plan to test the week my application indicates as my fertile window. Maybe I'll get good results. :)

  • We used kits for 2 months and got pregnant with DD. They do help with getting your timing right.

  • I have been using them for over a year and no luck, but they ARE a wonderful tool! EVeryone else I know that uses them got prego pretty darn fast!!! They can get expensive buying them at Walmart and those places, so I buy mine online where they are like, 50 cents per test...
