  • If you have a yeast infection, you will have intense itching. It it's a uti, there will be the urgency to go to the bathroom and it will be frequent. There will also likely be burning and pain when you urinate. It's probably best to see your doctor if you're unsure which you have. Yeast infections are annoying but uti's can be dangerous if they move to your kidneys.

  • Yes, if you have a yeast infection it can make intercourse painful. Not only that, your husband can be infected and then later reinfect you.

  • There is an over the counter test for a yeast infection so you can test your self and not have to go to the doctor. KatiemomNY is right, you can give it to him, and then get it back so you want to get it treated asap.

  • WHOA!! If you have either your honey should be no where NEAR 'entering" you!
#1- yeast infections are contagious- HE'LL get it! You'll have cottage cheese looking, smelly discharge, and intense itching.
#2- if you had a UTI you'd have the urge to pee every 10 seconds, with serious pressure and pain, and only a drop or two coming out! There's no way you'd want to have sex!

My guess is you have neither of these- possibly Bacterial Vaginitis or something else. Please see your doctor!
