  • At 8 months mine were eating 3 regular meals of solids when we ate, then had 3 more "snacks" of breastmilk/bottles in between, woke around 7, napped from 9:30-11, napped from 1:30-3:30, and went to bed around 7:30 (I have 5, 2 of them at 8 months were still taking a 3rd "catnap" from 5:30-6:15 or so). But for all of them, we worked towards this schedule as a gradual thing, following their lead, and tweaking their schedule until it meshed with our routine. I imagine it's much harder having to get 2 on the same schedule at the same time!

  • I'd first observe their natural cycles. If they don't have the same natural cycle you can adjust both of them a little to meet somewhere in the middle.

At that age mine were up at 7. They napped at 10, 1, and 5 (most days, though they did drop the 3rd nap completely by about 10 months). They were down for the night by 9:30 or 10. They had bottles and snacks or meals between sleeping periods, with at least 30 minutes to an hour in between bottles and meals or snacks.
