  • I will be 39 weeks tomorrow as well, due July 19th. Not many babies are born on due dates. My daughter was born exactly 1 week after. I'm hoping this one isnt as stubborn lol but I guess we'll find out. Good luck and congrats :)

  • My son was born @ 39w6d. I think very few babies are actually born on their due date. First babies are normally late too.

  • Your EDD is an Estimated Due Date. I believe most babies are born between 38 and 42 weeks (though way too many doctors will push you to induce rather then let you go to 42 weeks) I actually had my water break ON my EDD with my first, and she was born the next day, and I was induced (bad idea...i let them talk me into it) at 39w 6d with my second, so he was born ON his due date.

  • if you're due july 27th, then we are actually turning 38 weeks tomorrow. since its our first child its likely our girls will be late. most first time moms deliver either 2 weeks before or after the due date :{ but keep in mind the due date is only an estimate so it all depends on the baby. good luck! im going out to walk now. 50% effaced and a fingertip dilated so im hoping to get labor going or to at least get her down some more.
