Ok, follow up on court system....

Can a trial be labelled a mistrial once the virdict is read and supposedly closed? And you are correct "NOT GUILTY" not innocent.

  • A mistrial must occur prior to the return of the verdict. Once the verdict has been returned to the judge then the criminal clase is closed.

  • A person can not be tried more than once for the same crime.
