    I wish I didn't have to be.. but I'm not ashamed that I need help. I work full time everyday.

  • I've never had any type of public assistance, unless one counted student loans. I don't though, since I'll be paying back much more than I borrowed. That's really the only type of governmental assistance I've ever had.

  • I am I get food stamps because my husband decided he didnt want to work and we dont have money to live off of. I am hoping to past a important test so I can get my L&H license so I can get a really good job.

  • yes, we have food stamps and medicaid. i've been working since i was 15 so i'm not embarrassed that i have to use it until i can get back on my feet. i'm in the process of divorce also and have been staying at home for almost 3 years also. it's really hard, financially, for a sahm to leave her husband. i will never depend on a man again.
