  • use good quality bread like french and use 'real cheese' like Munster, cheddar or Havarti (or nay combination) do a herbed butter on the outside of the bread any of your favorites(I like to use thyme and rosemary) Serve with a good tomato soup or fresh salad! ( lettuce, spinach, onions, cucumber and strawberries with a vinaigrette!)

  • Add grilled onions and a tomato to the grilled cheese! And make (or buy) super hoity-toity tomato soup like a bisque to go with it! mmm...

  • I like to use different kinds of cheese, like brie or garlic havarti. I have also put apples or pears in the sandwich. Tomatoes, spinach and a good dijon mustard are yummy too,

  • I like ham in mine. Paired with tomato soup, my hubby makes it with Milk, then adds butter, oregano, salt and pepper, so yummy!
