What would you pay vs not pay...?

I have $1089 in the bank
Here is where the problem lays...

Internet/Home Phone $77
Cell Phone $75
Credit Card $150
Gasoline (Just to get to and from work) $300
Children's Braces Payment $120
Electric Bill $300

So my question is what would you skip paying for this month?

  • Call your phone company - ours is AT&T and there was one time we were going to have a late payment and they were great about it.

Also try and car pool a few times. You should at least try and pay a little of everything, but definitely pay your electric - you need that.

Are all those bills do at the same time? Maybe start figuring out a way to divi up bills to certain paychecks.

  • Home Phone and internet and cell phone. I would then call the credit card company and talk to them about a payment arrangement and also the braces to see if they could work with you

  • Oh, I wouldn't pay home phone, internet and cell...forgot to state that.

And if it was this way every month, the home phone and internet would be the first to go

  • If I had to, I would skip the braces and the credit card. Having to skip payments is never a great choice to make, but sometimes you just have to and those 2 things aren't going to get resources taken away. Other than those 2 I'd also consider letting the cell go since you also have a home phone.
