When it's time to move away in location for opportunity

In humor (tiny bit seriousness too), I've been looking for signs when it's time to move away to better economy. I came across this link "When it's time to move jobs" -, suggesting moving to another job within the same area.

I had to laugh at this and ask,"How can anyone be so confident"?

But then again, what if someone is in a tight squeeze with bad work situation and a bad work economy (and no money to move)?

Realistic answers only plz (without any work-at-home suggestions) for those who are primary earners.

Peace (with love)

  • Yeah, let the new employer deal with the house packing, selling, etc. But that seems to be rarer, I know some job postings note - no relocation expenses covered.

  • I would move only with a relocation package as part of my employment contract
