  • Right now? Probably no chance with poor credit. Unless you have a huge income.

  • I have a friend who got a title loan and was late 1day and they took her car in the middle of the night. I don't know if she was being truthful about the 1 day part but I do know that they took her car. How is a modern day loan shark disguised? I don't know... but I'm sure there are MANY out there. Where ever you decide to try for a loan....be careful! GL

  • G'luck.

I have a friend who doesn't have great credit. Her husband was in an auto accident & they got a large settlement... so decided to buy a home. They went to a lender who is supposed to help those with less than poor credit with $100K in CASH towards a $135,000 home. They had $100K CASH MONEY & wanted to finance the remaining $35k ---- they told them NO.

I have good credit, but no income. My husband has poor credit and PLENTY of income... & we're having a hard time getting a $70k loan for a home appraised at over $100k --- and we own -- CLEAR AND FREE REALLY OWN the three acres & homes that share the property line with this home & have virtually no debt ($1300 on a CC)... and they don't seem to care.

  • Afterthought....Have you tried to get help from family? It's not fun to ask for help but sometimes you just have to be humble and ask. However, they may be unable to help monetarily if they're going through hard times also but they may be able to help you in other ways....just reach out...your family will probably be there to help in some form or another.

  • Try your bank. Most banks are giving out small loans to members who have established accounts to generate business. It will also help repair credit! Speaking of, the best thing you can possible do right now is start repairing your credit. Make little payments here and there with creditors. You'll find that most are willing to work with you. Make those little adjustments in your budget. It takes time, and hard effort but after a year of making sacrifices, you'll start to get your credit back on track AND those small financial adjustments you made will give you money in your pocket after you're done paying off debts.

  • They are a direct lender, not one of those crazy matching sites. If you do use them, use referral code: GGYTBJ for a 50% discount

  • Please do not go for any ANY sort of payday loan or car title loan!!! They are very deceptive and you usually end up worse off. Best of luck to you..

  • Try Prosper.com It is a group that partners lenders with borrowers and is a win-win situation. Have you tried generating extra income with a home business?
