My dd gets her shots this week at 2 month check up...

Any suggestions you may have for afterwards with pain relief etc??

  • Give Tylenol before the visit. Use a cold cloth on the injection site. Mine goes this Wednesday to get his shots. Not looking forward to it. :(

  • Baby Tylenol helped my baby after the pain. Our Pedi advises breastfeeding during or immediately after to comfort the baby.

    Prepare yourself for SCREAMING! (It's absolutely heartbreaking!)

  • Tylenol before and after. Plan to carry the baby out (you may not want to bring a lot of stuff, stroller, etc, or bring a friend so you can hold the baby). Bring a bottle or breastfeed right after. Expect the baby to sleep a lot that day.
