1 Bump

Bugs in my bathtub!!!!

Oh my god, I hate these little bugs.
Ok, they're about the size of a grain of salt, they're brown... And I have no clue how to identify them. They're not ants, I can be sure of that. They seem to live mainly in and around my bathtub.
How do I get rid of them!?!?

  • Don't know but I would pour straight bleach down the drain

  • They aren't coming from the drain. They're more coming from the walls.

  • they might be silver fish thingies, they are attracted to moisture

Answer by AmandaH321 at 12:59 AM on Jul. 12, 2011

  • Ok, from what I can tell these aren't as big as a silverfish bug... I've never heard of that though, are they super tiny?
    And I can't afford a bug guy.

  • Ooh - are they almost fuzzy looking, and if you try to smash them they literally disappear? Does it seem like they just appear out of nowhere, emerge from the wall?! Asking because we have ones like that...

  • Hmm, I can't tell if they're fuzzy looking. They're so tiny I can barely see them. I can actually see them better after I squish them.

  • If you're in a dry area..they are coming in for moisture. I've had them....I don't know what they are, they are not ants but are tiny little black quick moving things. I got some Bug stop and sprayed under faucets around electrical outlets etc where they find entrances and they are gone.
