How low should my blood sugar be while pregnant and how high is too high?

  • Fasting blood glucose:
    70-99 milligrams per deciliter (3.9-5.5 mmol/L)

    2 hours after eating (postprandial):
    70-145 mg/dL (3.9-8.1 mmol/L)

    Random (casual):
    70-125 mg/dL (3.9-6.9 mmol/L)

    I failed my GD test because unlike most people, my blood sugar spikes an hour after I wake even without eathing anything.

  • Below 125 ( I had GD, not fun) but control it and check it for the baby's sake!

  • Fasting had to be below 95 and after lunch and dinner it had to be under 120.
