  • I think it would depend of the kind of fabric the sofa is made. The Magic Eraser might work.
    I don't know if you'd like the idea of going to an Arts & Crafts Supplies Store to look for fabric paint and check witch one might match with the color of your sofa.

  • Spot Shot (the original, in the aerosol can- not the trigger spray).
    I once used it to get LIQUID sharpie out of cream colored carpet after my rescued lab puppy chewed it, then proceeded to run around with it in her mouth, leaving a trail of permanent marker in her wake. It was awful! But the Spot Shot took it right out!

  • FYI- my kids have gotten into my pens a couple times and found sharpies, magic eraser works wonders on HARD surfaces. If they ever use it on cloth, carpet, or paint.... well, you have little option for removing it. We had to repaint. It seeps into the pores and permanently dyes fabrics. For clothes, you can *try* "Rit Dye OUT".
