  • Normally no later than 9. Even though school is out she still has things to do.

  • Summer time is free time, so, she stays up as late as they want, although she is usually in bed by 11 pm, and get up when she wakes up, usually by 8 am. She is 11 and the last of my little ones.

  • Both my kids are very busy during the school year and rarely get a lot of sleep. This summer I've let my son sleep until he wants to. He has high school football practice in the evening for three hours and isn't tired for a long time when he gets home so he's usually up late. However, he does need to do chores so if he has something planned he'll get up in enough time to do them before going anywhere. My daughter is up at 8 because she has a summer class she's chosen to take. Once the class in over, I'll let her sleep in too as long as she gets her chores done when she gets up.

  • Only my Youngest ones get to sleep in, Birth to 2 years.
The rest must get up by 7:30am or else.
To bed by 8:30 pm or in bed.
We still run it like school is in season. They forget what it feals like that back to school will be hell.

  • They are up no later than 8am and head to bed no later than 11pm. Teens need sleep, but they also need routine.

  • She is up at 5 every school day; in the summer (when she is not at camp, and does not have plans), she may sleep as long as she needs to sleep
