How do you clean scuff marks off a matte pained wall?

I just noticed a few scuff marks on my wall and I have no idea of how to safely remove them. My sister says to use a magic eraser but i'm just afraid of ruining the paint. What do you ladies think?

  • Magic erasers can take paint off. The safest way to get them off is to use a white pencil eraser (you can get them at Dollar Tree cheap). They will take off the scuff marks and not take off the paint.

  • I use the magic eraser. Just be gentle. A scuff mark should come right off without scrubbing.

  • I just used a cloth with warm water and a little elbow grease and it took off the scuff marks from my wall.
