Ok, when did I get old?

I was just wondering, when did movies and toys that I grew up with become "classics"? Rocky is a classic? Dirty Dancing? When I was young a classic was in black and white! Smurfs and click clacks are "retro"....just when did this happen? "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans" (John Lennon)

  • =o3
My stepmom talks about that kind of stuff all the time. She loved Rick Springfield when she was in high school, and she says she's horrified that Jessie's Girl is now considered a "classic", LOL!

I for one dread the day when *NSYNC and Britney Spears are considered "classic pop" or some crap like that, stuff from the late 90's when I was a pre-teen O.o

  • I am 41 and have no idea what is on the popular station - I do listen to the iTunes download list and have liked some of those songs.

But I know I am old. And I'm ok with it.

Now excuse while I start singing "Circle of Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiife"....

  • I would say after 30.....you start not being able to make sense of certain things "kids" do.
