  • Kegels are exercises for your vaginal muscles. They are what you 'squeeze' when you have to pee really bad. Strengthening the Kegel muscles is very important in pregnancy and post pregnancy. They can help with 'accidental peeing' like when you sneeze (which happens during and after pregnancy), they help with delivery, and are even rumored to strenghten orgasm.
The most common exercise is to squeeze those muscles as if you're trying to stop peeing, hold for 5 seconds and then slowly release to a cound of three, then repeat. Do as many reps as you feel comfortable and repeat daily.
