Do i have any rights as a step-mother?

  • If your getting a divorce and the BM is not around you can request visitation and/or custody. Life as a SM sucks especially when you are the sole care giver. Of course some of these women that are telling you no you don't have any rights act like their husbands (not child's father) do have rights. In most cases, as soon as you identify yourself as a SM your a horrible baby thief.

  • Legally no! But when you have your stepkids dont let them walk all over you! they have rules and you can enforce them

  • Nope not really sorry! Sadly I am glad of that because if me and hubby ever split and kiddos had one ild be pissed if she had rights... Now there is one exception here if the step parent adopts the kids off couse that usually only works if the real parent is absent
