  • Yes he would (and he has in the past). He'd be respectful and loving about it. Even when I was 80lbs overweight, he never acted like he wasn't attracted to me or loved me less but he did express concern about my health, being a good role model to our kids (especially our daughter) which I'd always expressed I wanted to do (I never want her to grow up like I did) and yes to be honest, he found fit and healthy more attractive. He was attracted to ME and loved ME and wanted ME but was honest about what he liked. It encouraged me to do something about it and now I'm much healthier, happier and have lots more energy to do things with my family. He risked me getting upset about it but I think if you truly love someone, you risk them getting mad if it's that important. I have weight related diseases rampant in my family. I should be willing to accept honest concern.

  • I was 260lbs (I'm 5'6") when we met... He has never once cared about my weight... I would have to be so fat I couldn't walk before he would even think about it.

  • Nope, my husband knows that I would sit on him and eat him for lunch if he even hinted at such a thought! LOL! ;)

No way, man! Homey don't play that!

  • My husband loves me for me. I've gained weight, but I still turn on my man.

  • Yeah my dumbass husband told me that I gained some weight after going off my meds. Not like he has a six pack or if he does, its under all that fat!

  • I would expect him to. I think how u look matters. When he got a little pudgy I told him. If I knew I was gaining too much I would really work to lose it.

We love each other but I want us both to maintain a healthy weight. A few extra pounds never killed anyone but if it was a lot I. Would expect it to be adressed, not just by eadh other but by others in our family who love and care about us and our health.

  • Tell me the truth I wouldn't be able to hide it anyways - I always noticed when I gain weight

  • Yep, and he would probably be rude about it. He is sitting next to me now telling me that he would tell me before it was "too much" and start analyzing my food choices, and telling me what I should omit from my diet. I wonder why I've had an eating disorder this long.
