What are some suggestions to increase your output of breastmilk while pumping?

I find that closing my eyes helps!

  • Think about your baby and how sweet/precious he is. It works. LOL! Weird, but true. Or stare at a picture of them.

  • Dual pump works way better than single, one side encourages the other to flow and so on. I always pump in my bed leaned up against pillows watching a nice show, something relaxing. I've heard things like got cabbage leaves on your breast, but who has time to boil a cabbage and pump lol. Just relaxing is the best I think, timing, obviously you will get more milk the more often you pump and not right after you feed your LO.
