So i am trying to make a garlic butter cream sauce type thing for baked potatoes and pork chops....The recipe calls for heavy cream...I only have milk, half and half or condensed milk....would any of those work?

  • none of those are really going to have the same amount of fat but if I needed to use one in a hurry I would pick the half and half with about tiny touch of flour whisked in it. I mean like a 1/2 table spoon per cup...

  • Half & half is the closest. Condensed - that's sweet, yuck.

  • Melt parkay 1/2 stick garlic powder,parm cheese, 1/4 cream or no cream, little corn starch Mix well
