Homemade salad dressing

I'm looking for a healthy and yummy salad dressing. I'm not a sqeeze a lemon on my salad type of girl...I wish I was, but at least not yet =]

  • All of this is to taste their is no measuring just trial and error. Balsamic vinegar, olive oil, stone ground mustard,Lemon(optional) and sugar. OR Balsamic vinegar, olive oil and preserves (I like raspberry)

  • This recipe was brought over from Italy back in the 1920's
    3/4 cup extra virgin OLIVE OIL
    1/2 cup RED WINE VINEGAR
    1 T granulated GARLIC or garlic powder
    1T granulated ONION or onion powder
    1teasp SALT
    1 teasp PEPPER
    1/3 cup SUGAR

    Place all ingredients in blender blend on & off til mixed thoroughly.

    Pour in bottle & store in fridge. This will thicken heavily . Take out and run under warm water to thin, then shake bottle . OR Remove from Fridge about 1/2 hour before dinner.
