  • Right before it rains, get some mothballs and crush them up into pellets and then sprinkle around. It will dissolve in the rain and will last for years and cats do not like the smell. You will only smell it if you are diggin in the soil.

    Tried and true..I've done it.

  • sounds good, I hear they also don't like the smell of citrus. My dh is always throwing food things into his garden so I assume you could maybe cut up or grate some orange, lemon peels and put them in the garden dirt. Maybe research other things they don't like the smell of. DH told my mom one to put in her plant pots at home to keep the cat from eating them.

  • you put a fresh peel from any citrus fruit and put them around your plants.....as they dry out quickly.....change every two days.....works with your plants in your house too.

  • There are also motion detector lawn sprinklers. When the cat triggers the motion detector, he'll get sprayed. (Get rid of cat AND water the garden= win win!)

  • You know....the people who let their pets out ---dogs and cats---are such stupid, irresponsible and careless people. Are there no laws?We have laws that state no pets are allowed to roam free.
